Summer and Winter storage
Our Travellift is an Acme Marine Hoist, the best and safest way to put power and sail boats in and out of the water. Our hoist can accommodate all boats up to 50 feet in length with a gross tonnage of up to 30 tons, beam of up to 18 feet, and draft of 7 feet. We can easily unload your boat of a transport trailer and launch it in the water
Our Marine shop is large enough to accommodate our Marine Hoist and it can carry boats to and from the shop for indoor repairs and servicing.
Winter boat storage in yard or in shop.
Boat tours are available by the hour, 1/2 day or day. Tours can be customized to meet your individual or group needs. Remote island beaches drop off and pick ups are available.
Explore and view Hecla "off shore". Take an eco boat tour to the bird rookery on Pipestone Rocks or visit the abandoned silica sand plant on beautiful Black Island. Take a short sightseeing cruise to the Historic Village or the North Shore and the Limestone Quarry.
Maybe you and your group would like to celebrate that special occasion with a boat charter to explore the unspoiled beaches Wells Harbour or Deer Island or just cruise the islands. Charters are custom made by the hour or day. Our modern Charter boats are Department of Transport Licensed. They have bathroom and shower facilities on board along with a galley to take care of your beverage and food needs if required. Do not hesitate to inquire for rates.
Last Minute Supply: Check out our convenience store which supplies everything from soft ice cream, pop, canned goods, pastries, fishing supplies, firewood, propane, souvenirs, clothing licenses and park passes to camping supplies.
